Legislative Conservative Lawmakers have proposed an $88 million safety proposal aimed at improving security for members of Congress, judicial officials, and top federal officials. The initiative follows the tragic violent incident involving conservative activist Charlie Kirk, but the appropriation has been embroiled in a partisan dispute over public spending that might trigger a shutdown.

Funding Allocation

The short-term bill introduced by Lower Chamber conservative legislators would fund the government running through late November while avoiding major programmatic changes.
