Meghan Makes a Unexpected Arrival at Paris Fashion Week
Meghan made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday to cheer on a fashion designer friend.
She attended the Balenciaga presentation after taking a solo trip over the ocean.
She has donned a number of designs by the brand's new creative director Piccioli and the attendance signaled "her backing of his latest creative phase," a representative for the duchess said.
This marked her initial visit at the style showcase for over ten years.
"Throughout the past, the duchess has sported a number of designs by the designer," the spokesman said.
"They have worked closely together on designing for important events on the global platform."
"She has long admired his artistry and contemporary grace, and tonight was the same."
"Tonight reflects the peak of a long time of creative work and companionship, shown through her support for his latest creative endeavor at the fashion house."
Meghan, who announced her arrival in the French capital with an Instagram story, chose a white outfit of flowing pants and a blazer from the line for the show on Saturday.
The duchess is most recently noted to have visited the United Kingdom in September 2022 to participate in a philanthropic gathering and was in the country when the late Queen died. She and Prince Harry then remained for the memorial service.
Her husband met his parent, the monarch recently amid rumors about a reconciliation.
He has made several trips to the UK in the past few years for a range of activities including for charity events and to attend legal proceedings.
Recently, Prince Harry joined remotely for a court session in a lawsuit against the Daily Mail's publisher.
