The San Marcos-based institution has expelled the student of an individual who apparently mimicked the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk at a university event recently.

A social media video captures the person in the crowd slapping his neck on several occasions, referring to himself as “Charlie Kirk”, and imitating the circumstances of Kirk’s fatal shooting.
“Charlie Kirk got hit in the neck, b---h,” the individual remarks in the footage.
At one point, the individual is observed mounting a statue and simulating collapse in a manner that attacked.
University Action
Texas Governor, a elected official, reposted the video and called for the enrollee’s dismissal.
“Such behavior are not permitted at our schools,” he declared. “Expel this student without delay. Mocking assassination must have consequences.”
Administrative head Kelly Damphousse issued a statement calling the video as “disturbing” and verifying it took place on the San Marcos site.
“Conduct that trivializes or glorifies violence is unacceptable and violates the standards of this institution,” Damphousse emphasized. “Statements that make light of violence are prohibited on our campuses.”
